Filing type changes from FERC
FERC issued a notice of changes to eTariff Refund Report filing types to become effective November 27, 2011. FERC has added three new filing codes to their list of available filing types. These are:
♦ filing code 1190 “Refund Report” for Market Based Rate companies

eTariffManager Level 1 Training is scheduled for December 13 & 14, 2011
In December, Systrends is offering two options for level 1 eTariffManager training. You can sign up for either the session on December 13 or the session schedule for December 14, from 11am-12noon eastern. They will be repeat sessions, so you do not need to sign up for both. Systrends is trying to provide as much opportunity as possible by offering two different dates for people to join.

Systrends attended Barbara Bourque EQR training conference
Barbara Bourque from Energy Compliance Consulting (ECC) hosted an Electric Quarterly Report training conference November 15 and 16, 2011. Staff from Systrends had the pleasure of attending to review EQR reporting requirements and learn how the process works. This conference helped Systrends understand what to develop for a new EQR reporting software when FERC decides on a final rule of the changes. No word as of when the final rule will be issued, but ECC and Systrends are joining efforts&

An updated version of the online help is coming to eTariff. The new help guide will include screen shots and step by step instructions for creating Master Tariffs and various types of filings.
How to set up a cancellation filing
To cancel a tariff section from a Master Tariff, there are a few things to keep in mind:
1. You do not need to associate it to a filing. Only the Master Tariff the section is located in.
2. You do not need to up the versioning of the section

eTariffManager 1.8 release Wednesday September 7, 2011
Wednesday September 7, 2011 Systrends delopyed eTariffManager version 1.8 to all hosted customers.
