New Begin/End Date Validation in EQR

Systrends Updates Front Page - Wed, 10/24/2018 - 08:29

To All EQR User:

FERC is apparently now allowing the same begin and end date for transactions less than 1 minute (since there are no seconds listed in the time column the number in the columns looks the same).

This means that your data can have a begin date of 090120181200 and an end date of the same exact number 090120181200

This is going to make it difficult to see if this is an error or a transaction less than 1 minute.

I am warning all users of this because while we have changed the software to allow the same begin/end dates (because I know of one customer that needs it), there is NO WARNING for it in the software right now. Adding the warning is going to take some time and won’t be completed until after this quarter.

Please check your dates carefully to make sure that all the transactions that are greater than 1 min have the correct end time.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

NEW ALJ Settlement Modification Filing Codes

Systrends Updates Front Page - Mon, 04/23/2018 - 12:07
AttachmentSize NEW filing Codes -April 2018.pdf16.8 KB

FERC has just issued a notice that new ALJ Modification filing codes need to be available may 1st, 2018.

Since this notice just came out from FERC, they are NOT part of Systrends New eTariff release 2.8.1

We are currently working on adding the new codes and will have them available as soon as possible.

Any hosted customers will be updated automatically. However customers that have eTariff installed locally on their servers should wait to install 2.8.1 until after the new filing code have been created and ready for release.

FERC Notice Regarding Headers & Footers in Documents

Systrends Updates Front Page - Wed, 09/13/2017 - 07:57

Take notice that the Commission’s electronic tariff system (eTariff) does not reproduce footnotes, headers, or footers in the Real-Text-Format (RTF) tariff text posted on the Commission’s website (http://etariff.ferc.gov/TariffList.aspx).[1]  To the extent footnotes, headers or footers are needed in tariff text, filers should enter them separately in the body of the document on each page where needed rather than by using automatic features of the word processing program.

[1] This applies to footnotes created programmatically by the word processing software, such as the Insert Footnote Tool in Microsoft Word, and text added to the header or footer areas of a document, such as using the Insert Header or Footer Tool in Microsoft Word or clicking in the header or footer areas of the document.
